An Introduction.

Well hello there!
My first impressions are almost always awful so I'll try and keep this one short and sweet.

My name is Selina, an aspiring journalist that treats live music and new records as an escape from humdrum Scottish life. Although I'm writing this post whilst sipping some green tea and listening to Bon Iver I'd like to treat this as a hub for all things sweet sounding and lyrical, breaking down any blogger stereotypes. Here at The Candid Mixtape I do not discriminate against any musical form so all's welcome and subjective.
