INTERVIEW: WE'RE NO HEROES

Last week Welsh trio We're No Heroes released their new single 'Voodoo' to the world and it's a real good 'un. With a clean cut and infectious samba beat set to catchy, strong vocals, who needs vitamin C when you've got three minutes worth of Summer in audio form such as this to lift your spirits ... which may also make you immediately drop everything to go out dancing til sunrise but that's just a bonus! Here's a Q&A with the band to find out more:

Who are We're No Heroes?

"We're 3 earthlings who came together partly due to what some may say were lucky circumstances and others unlucky. This accumulated into what will go down in history as the chi town fish market incident where WNH was born and so was the future selves of TC, Luke & Dewey; the members of this band and our sound. We now live in Cardiff where we still make music together a few years after."

How would you describe your sound to new listeners?

"Stone age funk as f**k."

What can you tell me about the new single?

"It's called Voodoo, it's out now with a music video so you should go watch that then pick it up somewhere for sure. It's a real summer tune meant to lift the spirits for those people who realize they'll be stuck in a s**t job for the rest of their life while the sun shines outside the many of the wonders of the world will go unseen and pass you by. Don't waste your short time worrying too much about money, it'll come. Go out and dance and enjoy the things you can experience while you can."
